Patient Participation Group (PPG)
Get Involved: Join Our Patient Participation Group (PPG)
A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is made up of patients, carers, and GP practice staff who meet regularly to discuss practice services, patient experiences, and ways to improve care delivery.
Since April 2015, it has been a contractual requirement from NHS England for all GP practices to have a PPG and to make reasonable efforts to ensure the group reflects the diversity of their patient population.
At London Fields Medical Centre, we actively encourage our patients to get involved in shaping the way we work. One of the most effective ways to do this is by joining our PPG. Meetings are held quarterly and bring together patients and various practice team members to discuss a pre-agreed agenda. The discussions and decisions made within the group have a real impact on how we deliver services.
If you’re interested in joining, please email us at:

Meetings are held once every quarter at:

The PPG helps ensure that patients’ voices are heard and considered at every stage of our service planning and delivery. We welcome all interested patients to get involved and help us shape a better healthcare experience for everyone.
